Max had a weight check and chest x-ray today. He is up to 6 lbs. 5 oz. They want him to gain between 20-30 grams per day and he averaged 26 grams over the past week. All of the hard work is paying off!
We weren't supposed to get the chest x-ray read until Monday, but one of the cardiologists read it today and said that everything looks fine. He did not have extra fluid on his lungs.
Max is still having some issues during feedings so we are going to have a swallow study done in the next week or so. Occupational therapy should help with this too. We should begin those appointments within a couple of weeks.
We go back to Children's next week for a weight check and an appointment with the cardiologist. We still don't have the surgery scheduled yet. Hopefully next week they will set a date. It should be anytime between the next 2-4 weeks.
